The website is based on Lil-wayne and his work. The website also shows how effectively we have produce Lil-wayne's How to Love which tells the story of a young girl who waits for a love that once she had lost and hopes one day she will be meet the love of her life. There are some changes to make which I will be doing it soon. But overall the product is superb!

Current work

I have finished creating a web that presents our music video and how it is influence by Lil Wayne's work.
With the help of Wix I have able to create a wonderful and interested web which have access to facilities that are describable! Its a fantastic site that gives you a opportunity to reflect your work in your own words. I loved the sliding column in the left side which showed the rows that you can edit. For instance, if you want to replace your music you can click to music which gives you two options- Upload and Add URL. Wix is just amazing and very simple to used and it also time consuming :)

Charlize Theron

Charlize is similar to our actress Lucy who is innocent but at the same time she is with evil minded and powerful, knows what she is doing. Is shown on Monster where Charlize is more disturbing and aggressive.

The comparison between Charlize and Lucy made us more aware of what type of clothes or make up will be more suitable for Lucy. Lucy in white fur coat and light make up was influence by Charlize look from Hancock where she is presented in light make up and light clothes.

Storyboard

This is our final storyboard which shows ideas that we will be applying in our music video.




The first sheet have some changes as we no longer will be filming the shot of a boy and girl sitting.













                                                                               
                                                                             
The second sheet have one of the most important shot. "Train Station" at the end of the video shows more than one meaning of Lucy's incomplete love.
Like in first sheet we have decided not to do the shot of a boy carrying a flower bouquet.

This is where we are.....

We have finally finished filming! And have started proper editing using effects and colour corrector. We have even installed the song how to love in Final cut. Even though we have some problems with Final Cut we are getting very well with it :)

What we have learnt today...

• We worked out ourselves how to cut the video clips that we are using to get the bits we want
• We learnt how to use colour correction on the clips 
• We learnt how to use effects and video transitions
• We learnt to never delete Sequences as we will loose all our work! 

Filming update!

We have now begun our filming and it is going very well. We started filming last week with our actress Lucy Harman who played her part very well. The weather was good as we were worried that we could have rain as that would delay filming as we have outdoor scenes. I did all her hair and makeup and dressed her in darker clothing to reflect the mood of the song. We have still have more filming to do which we will be doing this up coming week. We are hoping to have all the filming done by friday but we might do a bit more on saturday as the actors were not free on the days that we originally wanted to do the filming in order to meet the deadline.

Rihanna - Russian Roulette

This video has a similar story of ours as the female character moans for the wounds her boyfriend gave her. The setting and mise-en-scene represents the female character extremely vulnerable as her wearing less clothes suggests her less control over her life. The acting is the second best as it shows how scared she gets every time when she have to face him. But as the scene is developed she becomes more powerful and courageous as she demands there will no more threats and beatings. The female character in video suffers the same way as our female character- the constant panic shows she can still feel him in her nerves.

PINK - Perfect

This Video has a similar story of ours as being abused shows the main character's loneliness and obsessed of being angry. The main character is shown vulnerable and fragile like the character from our music video. Her obsessed of being angry shows the same kind of frustration of our female character. Our female character is being abusive because she is obsessed with her boyfriend and accepts him with his aggressive behaviour whereas in this video the female character is abused because she has a problem with her attitude and is less confident of what she is doing. The similar with both female characters is they both understands life is hard and cruel without love. The differences is the female character accepts her life as she believes nobody is perfect whereas our female character accepts her life as she believes without love nothing is perfect.
